SCBA Annual Scientific Symposium

You are invited to participate in the 2024 SCBA Washington DC Chapter Annual Scientific Symposium on June 8, 2024 in the University of Maryland College Park. The 2023 meeting provides an opportunity to showcase the latest research done by bioscientists in the DC, Maryland and Virginia Area, and will feature exciting talks by young and well-established investigators.
2024 Symposium Program

Lecture Hall CHM1407, the Chemistry Building, 8051 Regents Drive, College Park, MD
Parking: Regents Drive Garage, 8056 Regents Drive, College Park or other parking lots on the campus (free on Saturday).

Groundbreaking work on diverse topics will be presented,including but not limited to neuroscience, cancer biology, disease modeling, molecular mechanisms, and new technological development.
Keynote speaker: Dr. Chuan He, Distinguished Professor and HHMI Investigator from University of Chicago, and Dr. Xin Chen, Professor and HHMI Investigator from Johns Hopkins University.
Exciting talks from both renowned senior scientists as well as young investigators. Best poster awards for trainees.
Network with bioscientists in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area to discuss science and forge collaborations. Symposium is open to all bioscientists, or anyone who are interested in biological sciences, in the greater Washington D.C. area.
Opportunity to interact with local pharmaceutical and industrious representatives to learn about potential jobs and useful products.
